Another excellent week at Clatworthy, with fish being caught throughout the
lake. Hot spots are still along Syndercombe bank right up to Tripp end. The
boats have done well in open water at the mouth of Dudderidge.
There are still plenty of fish showing on the surface. Fish have been caught
on slow sinking lines with traditional wets and also Daddy Long Legs have
been doing well.
The heaviest five fish limit went to Mr T Price with a weight of 17lbs 10ozs.
The heaviest four fish limit went to Mr A Ryall weighing 13lbs. The biggest
fish was caught by Mr K Saunders weighing 4lbs 6ozs and Major Drake-
Brockman caught a 5lbs 2ozs rainbow.

Fishing has improved this week. Mr D Harris took his bag of five fish
weighing 14lbs which included a fine brown weighing 5lbs. Three of his fish
were caught on Daddies just under the surface and the other two on Diawl
Bachs. Season permit holder Tom Baker landed an early stocked rainbow
weighing 4lbs 6ozs, a good full fin fish which was also caught on a Daddy.
There are more fish showing now so hopefully it will be a good finish to the
season.
