Tuition and Guiding

I live and fish out of Plymouth and have done for more than a few years.
I have endured my share of disappointments, but over the years enjoyed some success as well.

As we who have given our lives to fishing in salt and freshwater will know, there are no guarantee's, apart from the fact that you might get sunburned or cold, maybe even wet a time or two. Then through that hard won experience you start to find some success at catching fish. Believe me one of the hardest lessons is the lesson that money, swish tackle or strong language will not make a blind bit of difference to the fish. You will either know when they will bite or you don't.

I learned a lot from my Uncles, some from friends and a lot from watching, looking, listening and just fishing in good company..... when I was young that's how it worked.

But today there are those of us who guide and tutor anglers in the skills and knowledge that has taken best part of a lifetime to learn. A shortcut to the best that angling has to offer...I often wish I had such an opportunity over the years.

A well practiced mistake is often the cause of a lot of frustration.

So if catching fish, tying flies, mending or making rods, enjoying the fresh air of the great outdoors on a lake or maybe fifty miles out at sea fishing a deep sunk wreck is what you want to do, then call or email me. I am sure we can work something out.
