A Winter Pollack caught over a deep water wreck in the Western Approaches of the English Channel.

The Eddystone Eel is probably the most famous of the supple tailed artificial sandeel's which were originally developed for Bass Trolling but have proven to be one of the most deadly artificial lures of all times. The Blue eels are a recent innovation which along with the solid red and black eels have proven to be superb fish catchers in deep water.

"If it swims better than an Eddystone Eel, it must be real!" or so they say......
